Goodbye Miss Murple!

Today we said goodbye to our dear friend Miss Murple. We are going to miss this sweet van that was our home for the last 12 months. She was sold to a great English couple who just arrived in NZ to start their travels. With the van sold, our bank account closed, and shopping finished, we can relax for our last FIVE days on the island. We will be seeing you all soon!!!

Here we are with Murple the day we bought her:

Sean with Murple all shined up and ready to go meet the buyers:

The Aubergine Machine sold the same day it was decided my trustee, but retired Volvo would be hauled off to generously give of itself to other vehicles in need of its appendages. Good Bye sweet Murple...Good Bye Sweet sweet Volvo. How you served us well.

Isn't it amazing how attached you can get to a vehicle? We really loved that van...but since we couldn't bring her home with us, we're happy she's in good hands now :)
