North Island Tour with Cait: Part 8

About thirty minutes from Whakapapa village is the National Park train station which picks up the Overlander train at its mid-point between Auckland and Wellington. The train ride was 6 hours and dropped us off in downtown Wellington.

It was great to not be driving. And, as it's spring here and the train passes through many farms, we were pretty much entertained by baby lambs and great views the whole way there.
